Welcome to Covenant House of Worship Canada!

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to Covenant House of Worship Canada, a vibrant community of faith dedicated to spreading the gospel of Christ Jesus to international immigrants in Regina, Saskatchewan. Our church was founded on a vision received in 2011, and since then, we have been actively reaching out to immigrants and students from the University of Regina and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Our Mission

At Covenant House of Worship Canada, our mission is to evangelize and disciple international immigrants and Canadians, fostering a deepening relationship with God and equipping them to live out their faith in their new Canadian context. We are committed to serving international immigrants, indigenous people, and the unsaved population in Regina, providing a welcoming community, spiritual guidance, and practical support.

Our Statement of Faith

Our statement of faith includes the core doctrines of Christianity, such as salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, the inspiration of the Bible, and the belief in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe in the literal existence of heaven and hell and the second coming of Jesus Christ. We practice two ordinances: water baptism by immersion and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Our Ministry Operations

Our ministry operations include regular outreach events, a summer tour, monthly hospital visits, family and couples’ events, vocational Bible school, and special services to celebrate guests and newcomers. We also have men’s and women’s conferences to equip and empower our members.

Meet Our Lead Pastors

Our lead pastors, Reverend Celestenant Chuks Benson and Pastor Rita Chinenye Benson, have been serving the Lord for over 40 years. They were commissioned into the ministry and have been actively involved in various ministry activities, including evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach. In 2011, they received a vision from God to plant a church in the City of Regina, which led to the establishment of Covenant House of Worship Canada.

Our Programs

We offer various programs, including weekly worship services, midweek Bible study and prayer, monthly Word Encounter Conferences, and quarterly revival programs. We also have a yearly fasting and prayer program in January.

We are glad you are here, and we pray that you will find spiritual nourishment and growth in our community. Welcome to Covenant House of Worship Canada!

Vision Mandate and Revelation

In June 2011, our lead pastors received a divine vision to establish Covenant House of Worship Canada in Regina, Saskatchewan. This vision was rooted in a scriptural conviction, emphasizing God’s covenant with His people. The core of this vision is based on biblical verses such as:
– Psalm 89:3, 28, 34, highlighting God’s covenant with David
– Hebrews 8:10, which states, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people”
– Jeremiah 31:33, further emphasizing God’s promise to put His laws in people’s minds and write them on their hearts
